The brief
The brief
In October 2023 we gave ourselves a brief: build a brand from scratch and see how far careful design could take it.
The name comes from the Italian qualche, "some" or "a few", which became the brand's idea: made for some, not for all.

Make a brand-new label feel premium and settled, with no heritage to lean on.

Working with Akansha Sharma in Figma, we spent two weeks on typography alone before settling on Revine and Metrisch. We tested four colour concepts and chose black and white, so the brand stays timeless.
Moodboard to finished website took about two months, and the first collection of quarter zips, shirts and sweaters was prototyped with a manufacturer in Surat, India. Qualce has since won us new client projects just by being in our portfolio.
